Rudramandir, Berkeley, CA

Saturday, November 2nd

As part of Reimagine 2019, I'm joining forces with my esteemed colleague and Zulu/Tamil elder, Gita Thandika, to offer a daylong ritual and workshop on Ancestral Lineage Healing.

Every lineage has wise and loving ancestors. Connect with yours as a source of blessing, support and healing. Learn to engage your ancestors in heart-centered group ritual in this daylong workshop. Take advantage of the 20%-off Early Bird price by reserving your tickets by Sept. 30th. We’ll look forward to seeing you on Saturday, Nov. 2nd at Rudramandir.

This work teaches relating safely and directly with blood and family lineage ancestors, cultivates connection with helpful guides, and creates boundaries and support for troubled dead in need of assistance. Together we’ll engage lineage ancestors in heart-centered ritual space through learning, experiential practice and group dialogue. All are welcome, including folks new to ancestor work, those without much information about their blood lineages, and those with a challenging experience of family. There are no prerequisites for this workshop, though prior experience with inner work and spiritual practice is helpful.

We provide a securely held ritual container that gives participants tools and practices for addressing grief, inter-generational trauma and allows for deep-level family and cultural healing. We maintain a high instructor to participant ratio to ensure folks receive lots of individual support. Both workshop leaders are experienced ritualists, trained in Ancestral Lineage Healing by Daniel Foor of Ancestral MedicineGita Thandika is yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner and elder/sundancer in the Lakota tradition. Raised in apartheid South Africa to a Zulu mother and Tamil father, Gita brings a strong sense of social justice and respect for cultural diversity. This spirit of reverence for resilience and creativity informs her approach. My own people come from the British Isles and Ireland, Italy and Armenia. I am an ecologist and artist who incorporates earth-based ritual and participatory art making into my work.

Reimagine End of Life is community exploration of the big questions about life and death through art, creativity, and conversation. Artists, storytellers, healthcare professionals, faith and community leaders, and innovators across the San Francisco Bay Area from Oct. 24-Nov. 3 are uniting to create a unique festival of more than 200 events. Root Wisdom is one of 200+ collaborators coming together to explore death and celebrate life from every perspective. We invite you to join us in questioning how we think about this most universal human experience.

New clients Save $100 on the Ancestral Initiation Discount Package

I highly recommend booking a series of three sessions over the course of a month to ignite the healing process and keep it flowing!

Ancestral lineage healing is a spiritually-grounded, ritual process that empowers you to connect, repair and nurture relationships with your own wise and loving ancestors. This approach is an effective, securely held form of ritual work (unlike conventional therapy) which assists you to directly access the supportive guidance of your own ancestors of blood to transform inherited burdens and reclaim the gifts that are your birthright.

This practical, experiential process combines ritual, guided trance, dreamwork and offering practices. There are no prerequisites, however, prior experience with inner work and relation with spirit guides are both helpful. I am accepting new clients for one-on-one phone and Zoom sessions and can support small ongoing study groups by arrangement. I have trained extensively in this modality as developed by Dr. Daniel Foor of Ancestral Medicine and am a certified practitioner of this work. Learn more about Ancestral Lineage Healing.

Students share why this practice is meaningful in their lives.
